The Journey of Yusuf (AS)
A Tour of Tales
Presenter: Mufti Abdul Wahab Waheed
In the Quran, Allah (SWT) recalls stories of those who have come before us. It is from these stories that we are told to heed their warnings and ponder their inherent wisdom and advice. One story in particular was mentioned to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as ‘the best of stories of what we have revealed to you of this Quran’ (12:3). It is the story of Prophet Yusuf (AS).
Join us as we travel on a journey of hope from a dream to the throne. Delve into the intricate life events of Yusuf (AS) that weave together to create a story coloured with hardship, grief, lies and betrayal but also strength, happiness and contentment with what Allah (SWT) has decreed for him.
It is through the narration of the story of Yusuf (AS) that we witness the knowledge and wisdom that were bestowed upon him by Allah (SWT), allowing him to conquer each trial and remain steadfast. Mufti Abdul Wahab delivers fascinating insights and parallels to trials that we experience in modern life. He presents an emotional analysis on the life of Yusuf (AS) that offers lessons and guidance on how to conquer each test and ultimately reap its rewards in the next life.
